Little Journey

Nothing to be proud off. Still under trial and error.

Gadis Melayu

Gadis Melayu means a Malay Girl. I roughly sketched this within 2 to 3 hours because I have focused more on the back ground effect. I was once a typical malay girl and sat on a thick wooden plank across a little river between my 'kampong house' and a narrow path near a padi field area. Inspired by that moment, gradually I captured the softness look of a typical 'kampong girl' ready for a bath in her 'sarong'.

Wild Wild West Flowers

I always love this kind of flowers, which bend wavy with its own kind of nature. I just cannot lay my fingers away from getting to try how the finishing would be. I guess this is the final touch I could offer. It took me about 6 hours to let go my desire to keep on creating my wild imagination to the end point. Hope to try this kind of piece again with different appearance probably from the other angle in the future.

My Sleeping Beauty

After the first attempt, I dearly need to express my work often. It has been my favor to be at the PC and if only I could get away from my daily routine! My two little children still and will always need my attention....! This piece is about my little princess lying next to me before she fell asleep. I sketched her on a drawing paper and to the next moment I grabbed the chance to explore and 'dancing' with the 'mouse'. Obviously I cannot satisfy with this because it looks like she is a little bit older. Again it took me hours and hours.

Bloom In The Universe

This was my first trial on Untitled Paint which was done from my PC somewhere in November, 2009.The title of this painting was given by a friend Amy Dolby, such an intelligent painter and I adore all her paintings very much! It's always been my intention to draw beyond my creativity but I finally have to satisfy with this one piece, hoping one day I will get the magic touch.
